I bought this knife because it is highly recommended by America's Test Kitchen. It is very sharp, and light weight, dishwasher safe, and is a great value. I don't like it as well as my Wusthoff Grand Prix 8" chef's knife. However, if you can't afford the Wusthoff, this is a good fall back.
