I got this knife for my nephew who is in his last semester of culinary school. He saw it feature at the Bon Appetit Magazine recently and while he like it and says it works great, he was not expecting it to be so big. Like it says, the blade is 10" but the handle adds another 6"- 7". It looks like a machete.
The box it came in was also huge. I will be happy the day amazon do a better job boxing stuff in better packaging instead of sending single items in outreageusly big boxes, full of air bags or extra brown paper.Get more detail about Mundial 10-Inch Cook's Knife with Wide Blade, Black.
