What an awesome knife. I've cooked for many years both professionally and in my own home and this is a great knife. Light, easy to handle and holds an edge as well as professional knives I've used. The blade is a bit thinner that the knives you see in restaurants but that just gives a lighter feel. The textured handle helps you keep a grip even with wet hands. I use this knife everyday. The large size makes it ideal for butterflying meat and making cutlets as well as chopping. I would recommend this knife to anyone. If you are just starting out cooking and can't afford an array of expensive knives this is the one you should buy.
