Cheap Victorinox Cutlery 9-Inch Chef's Knife/Slicer, Black Fibrox Handle

I've been using Forschner's 8-inch chef's knife for a couple of years now (and have owned Wustoff and Global too). I like the 8-inch knife, but it is unusually wide at the base, causing some foods to cling to the knife, and it does not taper as sharply at the tip. The 9-inch knife solves both problems. It has a more traditional width and tapers nicely, making it more versatile in the kitchen (don't need to reach for a paring knife to core a pepper for example). If you're thinking about the justly regarded Forschner chef's knife, I would recommend this one over the 8-inch. And note: it's cheaper at Cultery and more.Get more detail about Victorinox Cutlery 9-Inch Chef's Knife/Slicer, Black Fibrox Handle.
