This is far and away the best kitchen knife I have ever owned. I have this, the eight inch chef, the parer and the bread knife. All sport superior construction and finish for knives in this price range. They will take a razor edge and hold it surprisingly well. They are, if fact, a bit dangerous as several of my friends have cut themselves vastly underestimating their sharpness. This size in particular is so versatile and well balanced it always seems to be the blade I reach for regardless of the task for anything from vegetable chopping to turkey carving.Get more detail about J.A.
